Wildland Fire
Type 1 Timber Faller for ODF and USFS. Highly skilled in hazard mitigation of large actively burning trees on steep ground involving great situational awareness. Working directly with division leaders, hand crews, and resources from multiple agencies simultaneously.
Timber Falling
Licensed and insured contract cutting. Available for projects involving oversized timber, tree farming, and selective thinning. Small and large tract projects. Experienced in highway right-of-way, steep terrain, and hazard removal.
ABOUT
Licensed and Insured ISA Certified Arborist, Justin Ulmer, is experienced in all forms of tree care across the state of Arkansas, including urban removal and pruning, wildland fire, fuels reduction, consulting and assessment, and timber falling.
Justin takes pride in precision, skill, and preservation. He has worked on large-scale projects for ODOT, Pacific Power, and PG&E. He has worked with multiple municipalities and HOAs, and is an instructor for The Art of Felling Timber.
While his primary goal is to see the progressive advancement of the tree industry, what brings him the most joy is helping foster the growth of the men and women in the tree industry. He loves teaching, encouraging, and helping others develop their skills.
